Services and support for older community members
Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to visit our website.
Better at Home is a province-wide initiative operating programs in up to 68 communities that help seniors with simple non-medical, day-to-day tasks so that they can continue to live independently in their own homes and remain connected to their communities.
Hosted by Volunteer Cowichan and managed by the United Way Lower Mainland, Cowichan Region Better at Home is funded by the Province of BC.
This program works for people who are at least 65 years of age and live within the Cowichan Region. Depending on individual circumstances and availability of resources age limitations may change.
